Though Green Hell still has to prove itself. That said, I think Green Hell will attract many Forest fans just because of the setting and both having natives involved.īoth games are top notch in my opinion. I would not say if you like The Forest, you should play Green Hell. OH and Green Hell is meant to have an episodic storyline.
#GREEN HELL G2A PC#
Not only do you want to restrain from sprinting everywhere because of rattlers, but you also have a lot of cliff faces that constrain you. Green Hell VR: Quest Edition is a fresh and refurbished look on the succesful PC title Green Hell but on the standalone Meta Quest VR headset Delve into the jungle with realistic crafting, beautiful landscapes and a lot of dangers lurking in the thick bushes of the Amazonian jungle. You have carbs, fats, and proteins to worry about, other than then usual hydration. You have to inspect yourself often when leaches, worms, or the like get a hold of you. Your (in)sanity means a lot more here and is a measure often used to punish you for not tending to yourself. You have more believable bag space and your structures have to be built like real ones, in a certain order and nothing is going to be grandoise. Green Hell is more like the show Naked and Afraid. They just want to build something big and awesome! The game is just so damn fun it shoots itself in the foot storyline wise, because nobody wants to rescue Timmy. You can sled down hills on a turtle shell. You can build grand structures like an amusement park, utilizing cranes and zip lines. A well placed killer trap is an effective way to ensure a constant source of Protein. If the trap is placed on a common animal route it does not require baiting to regularly catch animals. And the custom building is about the best I've ever seen in a game. The killer trap is a re-usable trap that can be used on medium sized animals. Clinging to life, the player is set on a journey of durability as the effects of solitude wear heavy not only on.

The Forest area also seems to be easier to traverse. Green Hell is a sweltering struggle for survival in the Amazonian rainforest. You do have basic survival needs but the major threats are the cannibals and mutants. In The Forest you can scramble around a lot more.

Both games can be considered hardcore in the right setting.
